Located inside Ryder Trauma Center on the Jackson Memorial Medical Center campus, the Miami Burn Center treats more than 600 burn patients a year, supporting Florida and the Caribbean’s communities.

We use leading burn treatment techniques to provide acute care, outpatient care, rehabilitation, and advanced reconstructive treatment – including reconstructive laser.

Our faculty provides surgical and non-surgical wound care in the intensive care unit, the operating room, the non-critical burn unit, and on an outpatient basis. Specially trained nurses provide daily care, while occupational and physical therapists provide burn rehabilitation. This ensures continuity of care by the same team.
